Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026
We The Mind ("we," "us," "our") provides curriculum-matched academic mentoring, practice tools, and free educational resources. This policy explains, plainly, what information we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What We Collect
When you book a free session, we collect the parent and student name, email address, phone number, curriculum or exam, grade, and any notes you add about the subject or problems you'd like help with. If you arrive through an online ad, we also record which campaign brought you here (source, medium, and campaign name) so we know which ads are actually working — this never includes anything about you personally beyond that.
Our free tools (Word of the Day, Grammar Checker, Word Scramble, Math Sprint, SAT practice exams) run entirely in your browser. We don't collect or store your answers, scores, or practice history on our servers.
How We Use It
To schedule and run your free session, follow up if you'd like to continue with a paid plan, and decide which curricula and exams to prioritize adding next. Booking details are stored in a private Google Sheet accessible only to our team — we don't sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers or other third parties.
Cookies & Advertising
We use cookies for basic site analytics and to measure how our ad campaigns perform (for example, Google Ads or Meta). You can decline non-essential cookies using the banner shown on your first visit. Declining doesn't affect your ability to book a session or use any free tool on the site.
Children's Privacy
Our mentoring is aimed at students from Grade 9 through college, some of whom are minors. We collect a student's name and grade only as part of a parent's booking — we don't knowingly collect information directly from a child without a parent or guardian initiating contact. A parent can request that we delete their child's information at any time using the contact details below.
Data Retention
We keep booking information for as long as you remain a prospective or active student, and delete it on request. Ad-attribution data is kept only long enough to evaluate campaign performance, typically a few months.
Your Rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data at any time — just reach out using the contact details below and we'll action it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the "last updated" date above. We encourage checking back occasionally if you're a returning student or parent.
